What does a mentor do?
Mentors guide middle and high school students one-on-one via Google Meet, sharing career and college insights in sessions under an hour. Sessions are recorded and encrypted for safety.
What’s the time commitment?
Maximum one session per month, under an hour, via Google Meet. No minimum. You set your availability.
How do students book mentors?
Students work hard to earn “coins” in the MyTreks.ai app by completing challenging tasks like career workshops, coaching sessions, or online learning modules. They use these coins to unlock a session with a mentor of nnkjjjchoice, showing dedication. Our administrator coordinates the session, ensuring students have no direct access to mentors for safety and privacy.
Is mentoring paid?
No, it’s volunteer-based. Your time is valued, and students earn sessions to respect your expertise.
